I disagree. With the decline of society we all need to reverse course, and get back to the real world of integrity and character and not the current phony online world of misfits whom most have no real life to speak of and are not out doing real work or running companies. All of the players I know who are business owners or run companies are too busy to know or care about "social networking" Ask Bill O'reily! And it is not simply about money and profit is it? NO it is about bringing back a race of decent people to the planet. Jumping on the current band wagon takes no guts, is shallow and following the misfit herd. I say resist and let all of the social network advertisers dry up and go away , hence creating the end of this sad modern day infection.

Great simplification of a sometimes confusing subject.

I agree with "RB's" comment above, but only with the part about there being a lot of misfits and pure advertisers out there in social media land.

It get's difficult at first to find the ones who do have "integrity and character" but they are out there.
It is true there are a whole lot of business owner's don't use social media, but most likely someone in their company does it for them.

The way people access information has changed, most people don't read a printed paper cover to cover any more. The whole reason for social media is to let people know who you are and what you do; to be accessible and transparent so people see that you are one of the good guys and not a "misfit."

I have found a great group of people via social networking that selflessly give advice and information. If we all boycott the people doing it wrong...those who do the "don'ts" mentioned above, i think they will dry up and go away and we will be left with the good guys.
Thanks for listening.
